Making headlines

Inside CNN, a new interactive tour of teh news channel's New York City and Atlanta studios, invites budding journalists onto the floor of the newsroom to learn how news is gathered. During the 45-minute tour, visitors can watch real reporters at work. After the tour, kids can sit at a replica news desk to read the headlines from a teleprompter, give a weather report using the same technology employed by metereologists and record their broadcasts on videotape ($17) or DVD ($22). Tickets are $15 for adults, $11 for kids ages 4 to 12 and free for kids age 3 and under. For more information, visit the Web site. For information on the New York City tour, call 1-866-426-6692, for Atlanta call 1-877-426-6868.
