Mark your calendar for three-day weekends in 2005
Almost all of the major holidays are being observed on Mondays this year. That means six three-day weekends (seven if you count New Year's Day 2006).
This odd calendar alignment will happen only 14 times this century. The only stubborn holiday is Thanksgiving, which is eternally stuck on Thursday. (But most of us get the following Friday off, so who cares?)
