MSU booze loophole has lawmakers scrambling

Link - Apparently Mississippi State University thought it had found a loophole that would allow it to sell alcohol or have it openly consumed on tailgates during football season, but lawmakers were moving rapidly Tuesday to shut down the party. "The law now reads you can't have it on 'college campuses,'" said Senate Finance Chairman Tommy Robertson, R-Moss Point. "Since we now call them universities, one school has taken the position that it is not a college campus and is exempt."
