NASA-related teaching workshops offered at JSU
Link - The Jackson State University/NASA Educator Resource Center at JSU will sponsor workshops focusing on implementing NASA-related curriculum and resources in mathematics, science and technology education for K-12 teachers.
Workshops include Feb. 9, Punch Up Your PowerPoint with NASA Internet Resources; Feb. 16, Simple Classroom Web Site Design; Feb. 23, Teaching with Technology and NASA Resources; and March 2, Mars Activities: Teacher Resources and Classroom Activities; and March 16, Hands-on Mathematics Activities and the Internet.
Each workshop is 9 a.m. till 3 p.m. in Room 102 of the College of Education and Human Development Building on the JSU main campus. Free 0.5 CEU credit is offered for each workshop. For more information or to register, call Yvette Turner at (601) 979-1178.
