A T. Rex named Sue

The Mississippi Museum of Natural Science will host Sue - the largest and most complete Tyrannosaurus Rex ever unearthed from June 18 till September 11. Sue will be the centerpiece of an interactive paleontology exhibit.

Sue was discovered by fossil hunter Sue Hendrickson in 1990, near Faith, South Dakota. Sue stands 13 feet high at the hips and 42 feet long from head to tail.

The skeleton on display is the real thing. Not a plastic model or a plaster cast. Not a patchwork or composite of bones from different specimens.
