Two Yazoo sites recommended to National Register

Two sites in Yazoo County have been recommended for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places: the Moseley Woods House, a galleried cottage owned by the same African American family since 1880 and the Afro-American Sons and Daughters Hospital built in 1928 and operated as a hospital for African Americans until 1972.

The recommendation came during the Jan. 20 meeting of the Mississippi Historic Preservation Professional Review Board.
